Our journey concerns curiosity and discovery about environmentally responsible design.  We believe that it is possible to create a home that is beautiful, but practical, through careful consideration of the site, the locally available or renewable materials, and the client’s aesthetic.  You may find our journey similar to yours as we try to balance cost with character in creating a home that reflects sensitivity to our new setting.  As we leave New England for the hill country of Texas, we will be investigating options to accommodate our desire for a home that functions well within the climate and the evolving vernacular of southwestern architecture.
